Happy Halloween!

By the time Halloween arrived, the boys had already been trick-or-treating multiple times and had plenty of candy. But we dressed them up and let them go down my dad's street. They liked knocking on the doors and picking out candy. When they got tired we went over to Shannon's and Rexford had fun helping pass out candy to trick-or-treaters.

Papa's Birthday

We celebrated my dad's birthday on Halloween this year. The boys wanted to be right there close to the cake. Austin got shy when we sang Happy Birthday and got his little happy shy face. We had yummy cake and then did presents and then got ready for trick-or-treating.

Conway Ward Party

The night before Halloween we crashed the Conway Ward Trunk-or-Treat. They boys loved going from car to car with their friends getting more candy.

They loved this big pumpkin decoration and actually stood still for a picture :)

Bumby Ward Halloween Party

We rushed home from Sea World, stopped by to tell Brian to meet us at church, and then went over to church for the Bumby Ward Halloween party. This was the third event of the day so the boys should have been passing out but they played all the games and had fun. They pretty much just stayed at Grandma Ursic's game and kept getting candy from her :) They also had a pot of beans mixed with candy and the boys loved digging in that to find candy. Fun night!

Spooktacular #3

We went to Sea World for one last Spooktacular the day before Halloween. We went to a party in the morning, came home for a little nap, and then met a bunch of our friends at Sea World. The kids had so much with all of their friends. They loved taking pictures with all of the Halloween decorations and characters and of course they loved getting more candy!

Aly, Matthew, Austin, me and Rexford - we couldn't get Matthew and Austin to look at the camera because there were too many other interesting things to look at :)

Our friend Stacy made crazy sounds and faces to get the little ones to look and it worked but they didn't smile :)
Rexford has always been afraid of the people in costume but this year he's all grown up and wanted to take pictures with them
Austin is so much like his Dad :)

We only brought one stroller in but Rexford got tired of walking so on the way to the car we piled them all in and it didn't go over very well :) Matthew did not like Austin falling in his space!

Halloween Party

We went to a fun Halloween party with our friends and had great food, games, and crafts. Thanks India for a fun party! Before the party I tried to get Austin dressed in his doctor costume but he didn't want to wear it. So we tried a monkey costume I had around the house and he wore it for a minute but didn't want that either. He finally settled on Bob the Builder :)

Rexford's Preschool Party

Rexford's Halloween Party at school was also on the Thursday before Halloween. Austin and I went for the party. Austin sat next to Rexford and ate pizza and a cupcake. He watched Rexford play pumpkin bowling and pumpkin toss, and helped him make pumpkin magnets. Rexford got a bag of treats and he shared with Austin. The lighting again is pretty bad in the classroom so the pictures aren't great but Rexford had a great time at his class party.

Rexford's Halloween Parade

The Thursday before Halloween Rexford had a parade at his school. This year he told me he wanted to be a fireman again for Halloween so that's what we did. Austin wanted to dress up to go watch the parade since Rexford was getting dressed up. So I dressed Austin in his little doctor outfit (I found it when my Dad cleaned out his attic. One of my sisters wore it when they were little). The lighting was really bad in the classroom and the room where they did the parade so the pictures are a little fuzzy but the kids looked so cute and Rexford was all smiles and had a great time.

Hats

Austin loves to wear hats but he will only wear them backwards :) He puts them on all the time around the house. Here are the boys playing tennis in their hats. Rexford always wears his the right way and Austin always backwards!

Pumpkin Patch #2

One day after I picked up Rexford from school I tried to take the boys over to the pumpkin patch to get some pictures of them together. Austin was difficult but I was able to get a few cute ones. Here are my handsome boys!
