Mommy and Me Easter Party

I took Austin's cousin Stella to our Mommy and Me Easter party since Lisa had recently had Ivy.  Austin and Stella had a good time except when the Easter Bunny visited.  Austin didn't like him and stayed near me but Stella was terrified and cried and hid in the fireplace.

After the party we met friends at the park and had fun playing in the splash pad.

Easter

The boys were of course excited to wake up Easter morning and find their baskets that the Easter Bunny hid for them.  And the Easter Bunny got Rexford's note and did not hide them in his room :)

A Note for the Easter Bunny and Egg Dyeing Fun

When the Easter Bunny visits our house he hides the baskets for the kids to find in the morning.  This year Rexford was concerned about the Easter Bunny coming into his room while he was sleeping.  So he decided to write the Easter Bunny a note to let him know not to come in his room to hide the baskets.  He also wrote on a sticky note to put on the outside of his bedroom door just to be sure.

We had a blast dyeing eggs of course and the kids were multi-colored themselves too :)  They loved dropping the eggs in the colors and checking them to see if they were done.  They drew on a few of them with the crayon and did some sponge painting on them.  And of course we all loved eating them!
