Austin got to ride in the bike trailer for the first time on Sept. 20 but the pictures are on my dad's camera which Caleb has so who knows when I'll get those pictures :) Then he went again and Alyson took pictures with her camera but I don't have those yet. Then he went for a third ride and I had my camera so I took a picture. When I get the others I'll add them because the ones Aly has they are wearing helmets and it's funny. Anyway, I think he enjoys it but he doesn't really have much expression during the ride. Rexford is so sweet and lets Austin lay his head on his shoulder or he puts his arm around Austin. They are a heavy bunch and luckily my dad pulls this 70 lb. load!

Science Center
We went to the science center this week and I was excited because they had a new ocean exhibit. We walk in the new exhibit first thing and Rexford starts freaking out crying and asking to leave. I tried to show him the fun ride-on toy and puppets and stuff to play with but all he could see was a giant Shamu hanging from the ceiling! Why would this bother him when we go to Sea World quite often? I guess because it was above him and not behind glass? Anyway, he was throwing a big embarassing fit so we left. I tried to tell him it was just like a balloon and not real but it didn't matter. Austin was enjoying the room during this fit and was mad when we left. So we went and played in our usual rooms and had an enjoyable day. Austin was really enjoying playing with things since he is older and had lots of fun.

C is for Cookie!
Rexford likes to make cookies for family home evening and tonight Austin discovered that you could see the cookies inside the oven. He stood there a long time and kept going back. He also knew when they were out and people were eating them and demanded one himself. He loves cookies!
Aly's House
Today we went to Aly's house to play for a little bit. Rexford found a game in her closet with pictures of trains on the box and wanted to get it out. He had lots of fun lining up the trains all over the board. Then he found a swiffer and pretended to clean the floors. Austin of course liked this and followed him all over the house. Thanks Aly for entertaining us!
Mom's Birthday
For my mom's birthday we all went to Cracker Barrel for a yummy breakfast and then back to her house for cupcakes. Here are some of our fun photos!
Crazy Drivers
Rexford loves this car and Austin does too! They sometimes fight over it but the other night they were having so much fun. Rexford was pushing Austin and they were both crazy and laughing and silly. I love it when they are like this!
Big Helper
Rexford is becoming quite the helper lately - wanting to make his own food, push the cart or stroller by himself, do laundry, and feed Austin. Every morning when I feed Austin his breakfast Rexford gets a chair and gets Austin's food out and feeds him. He's such a good helper :)
