Golfing Fun

Rexford got to play putt putt with his cousins yesterday. He had never played before but had lots of fun! He even got a hole in one!

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a busy Thanksgiving! Rexford and Austin spent time with their grandparents, aunts, uncles, and all of their cousins. The kids had fun running around and playing together. Rexford enjoyed the parade on tv this year and loved the big balloons. The boys will miss Daddy when he goes back to work next week - they loved having him home.

Austin's First Oreo

Austin has been kind of fussy lately about food. He's been giving me trouble and only wants to eat things he can pick up by himself. He turns down most of what I offer him. The other night after struggling to get him to eat, I was tired and wanted to eat dinner myself so we gave him his first Oreo cookie. At first he tossed it down but then decided to try it. He liked it and ate the whole thing!

We went to try to get family pictures taken while Brian was home on vacation and it didn't go very well... Austin cried a lot! They hardly took any because he was so upset. We got a couple that aren't the best but okay I guess.

Austin's Pictures

Here are Austin's 1 year pictures about a month too late :) He didn't like it at first and cried and would not sit down. But luckily he warmed up and smiled for a few pictures.

New Cousin

Rexford and Austin's newest cousing arrived on Friday, Nov. 20th. Rexford couldn't wait to visit baby Stella! He also couldn't wait to go to the hospital with the hope of seeing a train! So after visiting her we got dinner and sat by the train station until a train came. He was so happy!

Spinning and Playing

Austin has figured out how to do his sit n spin toy by himself. It's much faster when I help him but he can make it turn slowly. The other day he was playing with a pacifier which he has never used before. It just looked funny because I'm not used to seeing him with one. Here he was playing around. Then later I found him inside a bin of toys. He was stuck but so cute :)

Laundry Helpers

Rexford is really good about helping with chores - folding laundry, putting dishes away, and getting things when I need them. The other day the boys helped with the laundry and then had lots of fun playing with the basket.
