Thanksgiving Fun with Uncle Caleb

Caleb and Catie came for Thanksgiving and the boys had lots of fun jumping on Caleb and wrestling, tickling, etc. As soon as the boys see Caleb, they grab him and want to play :)

Putting up the Christmas Tree (before Thanksgiving)

We decided to go ahead and put up the Christmas tree before Thanksgiving this year so that we could just relax and spend time together the rest of the week without having to get stuff out of the attic and move stuff around, etc. Rexford was very excited to get out the tree and the ornaments and all of the fun Christmas decorations. Austin loved waking up from his nap to find a Christmas tree in our living room. Everyone is getting excited! It was nice to start the Christmas fun a few days early this year :)

Park Fun with Cousins

My cousin Heather came to visit the week of Thanksgiving and so we got together with her and her three boys at the park. Aly and Matthew and my mom came too. So the children were all BOYS! We played frisbee, football, soccer, basketball, and ran around and played. We're glad we got to see them and hope they come again soon!

We tried to take a picture but it was at the end so the kids weren't so cooperative but it's cute anyway :)

Noah's Ark Reenactment

One night in November Brian was reading Rexford his church magazine and one of the ideas in it was to act out a story from the scriptures. Rexford wanted to do this so I told him to act out the story of Noah and the Ark. He got out tools (chainsaw, nail gun, drill, power screwdriver of course) and pretended to build his ark on our chair. I'm sure it would have been easier if Noah had those power tools too :) Then he gathered all the stuffed animals in the house and put them in his ark. He climbed on top and sailed for a long time :) He didn't want to get off and clean it up. We love Rexford :)

Anderson is here!

Anderson Wayne Watkins was born on November 18, 2010! He was born late that night so we went up to see him the next morning. We were so excited and he was so cute! Rexford loved holding him. We are so happy he is here!

Errands are exhausting!

After running a few errands I brought Austin home and let him watch tv while I made his lunch. I walked over to get him for lunch and found him passed out on the couch (still wearing his Walmart sticker). I love that he's still young enough to be so tired to just fall asleep in the morning on the couch. He's such a cutie!

Haircut Night

Brian has been cutting the boys' hair but he wanted to watch someone do it once so one night for Family Home Evening we took them to get their hair cut. They were so excited and had fun. I thought Austin would be scared and cry because he's never had anyone cut his hair besides Brian but he loved it! He climbed up in the chair and said, "my turn." The boys did a great job and the cuts came out cute.

Working on Daddy

One evening the boys pulled out all their power tools and began "working" on Daddy's hair :) They said they were giving him a hair cut. Here are some pictures from the great job they did :)

Green Meadows Farm Field Trip

Rexford had his first preschool field trip to Green Meadows Farm. I took Austin too so he could join in on the fun. It was a nice day and the boys had lots of fun with all of the animals. They also loved the train ride, hay ride, and pony rides and they loved playing on the fire truck, tractors, and playground. We had a great day together!

Lunch at Daddy's School

Rexford had been wanting to go to Brian's school for a long time so finally one Friday we went to have lunch with Daddy in his classroom. The boys were so excited to go see his school and have lunch there. Austin wouldn't pose for a picture but he had fun checking everything out. Here's Rexford and Brian after lunch.

Cousin Fun

We've had lots of fun with cousins lately! Austin and his cousin Jillian are six months apart and one day when we were over at their house, they played together for a long time just by themselves. I found them playing in a little hidden space under the stairs. So cute :)

Rexford loves when his cousin Ethan comes to visit from Jacksonville. They had lots of fun on their last visit. The boys played cars, Wii, restaurant chef, firemen, trains, Hot Wheels, and more. Rexford gets so sad when it's time for Ethan to leave :(

Happy Birthday Grandma Danner

We went over to my Grandma's house on her birthday and the boys had fun eating cupcakes and singing "Happy Birthday." Here are a couple of pictures from our birthday visit.

Giant Halloween Stash

Here is all of the candy from our many Halloween outings minus most of the first Sea World trip because the kids ate it. It was overflowing from our big IKEA toy bucket :)

I sorted it all out to see what we had and what to throw out. Here it all is :)
