Spooktacular Visit #2 with Daddy and Friends

Here are pictures of our second visit to Sea World's Spooktackular. This time Austin dressed as an army man and Rexford dressed as a police officer. Brian came with us this time and we met our friend Stacy and her kids there. The kids got to decorate a cookie and eat it, get lots of candy, watch the Shamu show and see the new baby whale, and go on a few rides. The loved having fun with their friends and especially having Daddy there.

Pumpkin Carving

I let the boys paint their little pumpkins and then I bought a bigger one for me to carve. Rexford helped me this year. In previous years, he would not put his hand in and touch the seeds because he thought it was too yucky. But this year he helped pull it all out and separate the seeds for me. We made a big mess and had fun!

Austin's Chuck E Cheese Visit

Chuck E Cheese sent Austin 20 free tokens for his birthday so I took him there one morning and let him play! Aly and Matthew joined us and they boys had fun playing some games together. Austin loved to ride on the riding toys and his favorite was the Bob the Builder one. He rode it about 10 times :) He also loved riding the Kentucky Derby horse ride and this helicopter one. We ended up with enough tickets to get both boys a lollipop and a twisty straw for Austin and one to take one for Rexford. Here are some pictures of our fun!

Pumpkin Painting

The boys were so excited to paint their pumpkins this year! Austin was excited to walk around with his pumpkin and wanted to hold it constantly. They had fun and they turned out great! Here are my sweet boys having some pumpkin fun.

Pumpkin Patch

I signed up to work one day at the pumpkin patch at Rexford's school. Aly and Matthew came and hung out with us and the boys had fun carrying pumpkins around, climbing on them, and being silly. For weeks after, he kept asking to go to the pumpkin patch! Here are some cute pictures of Austin having fun.

Busch Gardens Fun

Here are pictures from our third Busch Gardens trip. I hope it's not the last, I am going to try to squeeze one more trip in before the passes expire. My dad and Aly and Matthew came with us and of course we had lots of fun. I went on the wooden roller coaster and it was so rough! I think I will stick with the modern ones from now on :) The boys had fun checking out the animals on the train ride and then walking around looking at the orangutans and tigers. They loved the kid rides and especially this fun bounce house place. Here are some pictures of our day.

This ride is only for kids and adults aren't allowed so all three boys got to go on it together. They had lots of fun and were all smiles!
After the ride - they were so cute! They loved it!

That morning when we were getting ready to leave to go to Busch Gardens Rexford came to me and said, "Mom I am going to try really hard to take a picture with a character today." I was so surprised because I always tell him he doesn't have to and he is usually so scared. When we got there he bravely posed for a picture with the biggest character - Big Bird! I was so proud of him!

Here we are on the kiddie roller coaster. I had to convince Rexford to go with me on it because I love it and he went but then didn't want to go again :)

Austin was mad that he was just short of the height requirement for this one but Rexford got to go and loved it

The boys had a blast on this giant jumping area! They jumped forever and had so much fun! I was surprised that Austin could do it but he bounced and walked and loved it.
