After a week of running around working on campain stuff, Rexford and I needed a break. I was getting our stuff ready to go to the park and I look into the living room and there is Rexford standing on the end table playing with the blinds and watching tv. I almost started to scold him but it was kind of cute so I took a couple of pictures instead. I got him down several times but he kept climbing up there. I give up! Later on, I found him on the dining room table playing with a ceramic flower pot. So we went to the park for some safe climbing fun and had a great time!

Mitt Romney Rally #2
Rexford, my sister Alyson, and I went to another rally today at the Sanford airport to see Mitt one last time before the FL vote. There were a lot of people there and an enthusiastic crowd. We couldn't get close enough to take a picture with him this time but Alyson got a picture with his wife Ann. After the rally they told some of us to stay because Joe Scarborough from MSNBC was going to interview Mitt. I don't think I'll be visible on TV when they show the interview but I was there! It was a lot of fun! Go Mitt!

New slippers
Thursday was my birthday so my mom took Rexford and me out to lunch and then we stopped at Old Navy. She bought Rexford these cute slippers that are a size too big but he will grow into them and it's easy to put them on. He always likes to put my slippers on and walk around the house so now he has his own. He is very proud of himself when he walks around like mommy and daddy. When he has them on he will point to our slippers and wants us to say that we all have slippers on.

Dubbadubba
Rexford has become very interested in the letters of the alphabet lately. He totally surprised me a couple of weeks ago by answering the television when they asked what letter was on the screen and he was right! I have no idea how or why he knows certain letters. His favorite letters are w, o, b, and d. Today he also said a and e. He can even point to them on a computer keyboard or in a book. I think I might have to give credit to his favorite pbs show, Super Why! He also loves reading Dr. Seuss ABC book so that might have helped too. He gets very excited when he sees letters he recognizes in the real world-today he was screaming and smiling because he pointed to w and o on a shirt I'm wearing. It is a lot of fun to watch him learn new things. The first video is of Rexford saying some of his letters. The second video is Rexford pointing and naming his letters on the fridge.

Take time to smell the flowers
Rexford has learned how to smell and likes to smell the flowers on our table (even though they are fake). It's so cute but in this video he decides to feed the flowers some of his goldfish!

Here We Are!
Everyone I know is blogging now so I thought I'd give it a try! Not that I really have time for it but I'll give it my best shot. So look for more to come!
